About National Institute of Technology NIT Warangal
NIT Warangal is one of the 18 regional engineering colleges in India which was founded in 1959. In 2002, it was conferred as a deemed University by the government because of its contribution in the field of engineering skills and technology. After a series of changes, this prestigious college in the urban locality of Andhra Pradesh now offers 7 graduate programs, 24 PG programs, and research curricula. Noted for its effort in teachers training programs, industrial consultancy, and other educational sessions, the residential institute is immensely sought after by aspiring engineering students from all parts of India.
The sprawling campus of 248 acres is enough to attract any incumbent student. Moreover, NIT Warangal is well connected with the neighboring localities of the state. Located on the Warangal highway, the institute is only a 3 km drive to the Kazipet railway station. You can also avail the Warangal station which a 12 km drive from the institute. Many students often use the railways to commute to Hyderabad – 140 km from Warangal.
